2. Orders and Payment
Placing an order
When you add a product to your cart and complete checkout on www.rackandroll.co.za, you are making an offer to purchase the selected items at the listed price. Your order is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from us.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion — for example, if a product is out of stock or if a pricing error occurred. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund within 5 working days.
Pricing
All prices on our website are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are calculated separately at checkout and are clearly displayed before you confirm payment.
We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate. If an error is discovered after you have placed an order, we will contact you before processing. You will have the option to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
Payment methods
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) through our secure payment gateway. All transactions are processed securely. Rack & Roll does not store your card details.
3. Delivery
We deliver nationwide across South Africa. Delivery timeframes and costs are set out in our Shipping & Returns Policy, available at www.rackandroll.co.za/shipping-returns.
Risk of loss and damage to the products passes to you upon delivery. We strongly recommend inspecting your order on arrival and reporting any damage to us within 48 hours.
4. Products
Flat-pack assembly
Most Rack & Roll products are sold as flat-pack kits that require self-assembly. Installation instructions are included with every product and are also available on the relevant product page on our website. If you are unsure about anything, contact us before assembling — we are happy to send a video walkthrough via WhatsApp.
Product descriptions and images
We make every effort to accurately describe and photograph our products. Minor variations in colour, grain pattern, and finish may occur due to the natural properties of Birch plywood. These variations are not considered defects.
Product dimensions and specifications are listed on each product page. Please check these carefully before ordering, especially for wall-mounted products where wall space and stud placement matter.
Custom orders
Custom or made-to-order products are non-returnable unless they have a manufacturing defect. Custom specifications must be confirmed in writing before production begins. Lead times for custom orders will be agreed with you before payment is taken.
5. Returns and Refunds
Our Returns and Refunds policy is set out in full in our Shipping & Returns Policy document, available at www.rackandroll.co.za/shipping-returns. A summary:
- You may return unassembled products in original packaging within 14 days of delivery
- Assembled, painted, or modified products cannot be returned
- Defective products are covered under our quality guarantee regardless of assembly status
- Refunds are processed within 5 working days of receiving the returned item
